Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a proactive QHSE professional in Kuwait to lead the development and management of QHSE policies and systems. The role requires ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 expertise and strong risk assessment capabilities.

You will drive safety training, audits, investigations, and documentation maintenance across operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, English proficiency, and a proven safety leadership track record to foster a robust safety culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as specified.
• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Proficient in risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; able to influence stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• English language proficiency mandatory; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and proactive safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QHSE policies and procedures aligned with international standards.

• Deliver QHSE training programs to all employees to foster a safety culture.

• Monitor QHSE performance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment.
• Contribute to emergency response plan development and drills.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive QHSE policies and procedures aligned with international standards and company objectives
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards assess risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices
• Investigate incidents accidents and near misses determining root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence
• Deliver engaging QHSE training programs to employees at all levels fostering a strong safety culture and promoting awareness of risks and control measures
• Manage and maintain QHSE documentation including risk assessments method statements permits to work and incident reports
• Promote proactive safety behaviors and encourage reporting of hazards and unsafe conditions through effective communication channels
• Monitor and analyze QHSE performance data identifying trends and developing strategies for continuous improvement
• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment PPE and safety equipment across all operational areas
• Contribute to the development and execution of emergency response plans ensuring preparedness for potential incidents

Requirements

• Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
