Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering seeks a site environmental assistant to support environmental compliance on contracts. Assist in managing environmental requirements, inspect areas for compliance, and support documentation like Aspects Register, Waste Management Plan, manifests.

You will help train contract personnel through toolbox talks on Environmental Awareness and Solid Waste Management, ensure waste segregation and proper disposal, and contribute to the Integrated Management System and

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing environmental requirements of the contract.
• Regularly inspect the assigned area to ensure compliance with environmental requirements.
• Assist in timely preparation of environment compliance reports such as monthly environmental and solid waste reports.
• Provide trainings to contract personnel through toolbox talks on topics like Environmental Awareness and Solid Waste Management.
• Assist in ensuring that control measures identified in the Aspects Register are implemented at site and in preparing documents such as Aspects Register, Training records, Waste Management Plan, manifests, etc.
• Assist in ensuring that waste segregation and proper waste management are practiced at sites and that waste generated during maintenance, shutdown and project activities is stored and disposed of per company requirements.
• Assists in implementation and maintenance of Integrated Management System and participates in environmental campaigns.
• Effective performance and visibility in site field is required.
