Job summary

PeopleStrong in Kuwait seeks an Environmental Specialist to ensure contract environmental requirements are met on-site within oil and gas projects. You will inspect areas to verify compliance and help implement the environmental management system.

You will prepare monthly environmental and solid waste reports, conduct toolbox talks, and support waste segregation and proper disposal practices; candidates with 3–10 years of experience and a General Diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Assist in managing environmental requirements of the contract.
• Regularly inspect the assigned area to ensure compliance with environmental requirements.
• Assist in timely preparation of environment compliance reports, like monthly environmental report and monthly solid waste report.
• Impart trainings to contract personnel through toolbox talks on environmental topics.
• Assist in ensuring control measures in the Aspects Register are implemented at site.
• Assist in waste segregation and proper waste management at sites.
• Assist in implementation/maintenance of Integrated Management System.
• Assist in conducting environmental campaigns.
