Job summary

Megha Engineering And Infrastructure in Kuwait City seeks a senior quality engineer to lead QMS implementation and uphold ITP/QCP compliance across mechanical piping, vessels and tanks.

You will coordinate with clients and third-party inspectors, review welding records, and ensure material traceability, with extensive experience in Oil & Gas projects preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE/BTech).
• 10+ years of experience; 8+ years in Oil & Gas.
• KOC approval is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System QMS in accordance with project specifications and international standards
• Review and ensure compliance with ITPs, QCPs and Method Statements
• Monitor fabrication, erection, installation and testing activities for mechanical equipment and piping
• Conduct inspections of pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, boilers, pumps, compressors and piping systems
• Verify MIR and ensure material traceability throughout the project
• Coordinate with construction engineering clients and third-party inspection agencies for quality inspections
• Ensure welding activities comply with approved WPS PQR and welder qualifications
• Review welding records, fit-up inspections, visual inspections and NDT reports
