Job description

The Process Engineer shall monitor and check all Contractor requisitions, work packages, risk and method statements etc. to ensure optimized work processes. Witness and verify compliance with the design specification including oversight of construction and Commissioning to ensure QHSE standards are maintained. In addition he shall provide on the job training to his client counterpart.

The suitable candidate should have minimum of 5-10 years of relevant process experience within the Oil & Gas industry together with a minimum of 2-5 years' experience in the design and construction of onshore plants. The ideal candidate shall be familiar with industry standard codes and construction practices. Will perform liaison duties between client and Contractor reporting tothe Resident Engineer.

The job location will be Kuwait.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• Prepare and review process engineering deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, heat & material balance, equipment sizing, and datasheets.
• Perform process simulations, hydraulic calculations, and technical evaluations using engineering software and industry standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support procurement, detailed engineering, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Participate in safety studies (HAZOP/HAZID), ensure compliance with client specifications and international standards, and support process optimization initiatives.
