Job summary

Megha Engineering And Infrastructure in Kuwait seeks an experienced QA/QC Engineer (Mechanical) to implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System in line with project specifications and international standards.

You will review ITPs, QCPs and Method Statements, monitor welding, inspections of vessels, tanks and piping, verify MIRs and ensure traceability, and coordinate with construction, clients and third‑party inspectors.

Qualifications

• Must have min QA/QC Mechanical experience and letters from all previous companies.
• Experience in Oil & Gas is essential.
• KOC approval is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) per project specs and international standards.
• Review ITPs, QCPs, and Method Statements for compliance.
• Monitor fabrication, erection, installation, and testing of mechanical equipment and piping.
• Inspect pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, boilers, pumps, and piping systems.
• Verify MIRs and ensure material traceability throughout the project.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, clients, and third‑party inspection agencies.

Job Description

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with project specifications and international standards.
• Review and ensure compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Control Procedures (QCPs), and Method Statements.
• Monitor fabrication, erection, installation, and testing activities for mechanical equipment and piping.
• Conduct inspections of pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, boilers, pumps, compressors, and piping systems.
• Verify incoming material inspection (MIR) and ensure material traceability throughout the project.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, clients, and third-party inspection agencies for quality inspections.
• Ensure welding activities comply with approved WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications.
• Review welding records, fit-up inspections, visual inspections, and NDT reports.
