Job summary

Boeing is seeking a C-17 Field Services Customer Engineer to be based at Al‑Mubarak Air Base in Kuwait. The role supports the Kuwait Air Force with real-time, time-critical on-site engineering and technical assistance, including troubleshooting, training, and documentation.

You will work with the C-17 Globemaster III, travel to other locations as needed, and participate in a DEA program over 2–4 years to achieve required standards. Relocation may be offered according to local Kuwait terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• Ability to work independently under time constraints and stress in a demanding on-call environment.
• Experience on C-17 or similar widebody fleet aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex operational problems with Kuwait customer coordination.
• Provide troubleshooting and repair guidance to Kuwait customer.
• Interpret technical documents to ensure proper understanding of intent.
• Provide on-the-job training explaining operations, maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting.
• Assist with spares supply and support equipment for Kuwait missions.
• Document field site activities and report status of issues and developments.
