Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait is seeking a Banquet Captain to oversee setup, service, and post-event duties for luxury functions. You will coordinate room layouts, update function sheets, and ensure staff adheres to service standards during events.

With at least two years in a five-star hotel banquet role, you will manage hosts, log shifts, supervise cleanup, and maintain props and china. English is required; Arabic is a plus, and you must work well under pressure with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Banquet service experience in luxury settings.
• Ability to perform under pressure during events.
• Strong attention to detail during setup and service.
• Fluent English; Arabic a plus.
• Active listening and guest interaction skills.

• Oversee the set-up of functions including checking of the physical layout of the room providing the servers with the proper set-up information and posts updated function sheets in the Banquet Kitchen
• Oversee the service of the function assigned by the Banquet Manager to insure the success of the function and staff adherence to all service rules
• Meet individual hosts and makes him herself accessible to the host for any need that may arise
• Complete the Captain s log book at the completion of the shift function
• Oversee the clean-up of all functions and insuring the proper removal and storage of hotel linen and skirting
• Prepare and post daily room assignments for servers including specific times for set-up and service
• Oversee proper clean up handling and storage of all props and specialty china
