Job summary

BYD Europe in Kuwait City seeks a Sales Manager to drive sustainable retail growth through strategic sales planning, demand forecasting and dealer development. You will partner with the Country Manager to translate targets into actionable plans, monitor performance, and manage cross-functional coordination with Supply Planning and Marketing.

The role requires strong Excel, CRM and BI tools skills, plus professional English and ability to travel within markets. GCC automotive exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Typical 5+ years in automotive sales, sales operations or commercial planning, including 2+ years managing dealer performance or business planning.
• Demonstrated results in retail improvement, dealer coaching, demand forecasting and business reviews. Strong Excel, presentation and CRM skills; ability to reconcile data and build practical forecasts.
• Professional working English and ability to work across cultures and travel within assigned markets. GCC automotive experience, SOP exposure, BI tools, Arabic or Mandarin are advantages.

Responsibilities

• Turn market opportunities into sustainable retail growth through sales planning, demand forecasting, dealer development and disciplined performance management.
• Translate objectives into monthly and quarterly plans by dealer and model; track retail, bookings and target gaps; identify causes and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain a rolling demand forecast by month, dealer, model and trim; validate dealer inputs against trends and campaign assumptions.
• Lead dealer performance reviews, coach sales managers and verify action effectiveness.
• Align demand priorities with Supply Planning, Marketing, Product, Finance and dealers; prepare decision-ready SOP inputs.
