Job summary

HUDSON in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Assistant Floor Manager for a reputed restaurant group. You will assist the Floor Manager, oversee front-of-house operations, supervise staff, and ensure guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in hospitality, a diploma/degree in hospitality management, strong leadership, and good communication skills. Familiarity with POS systems and a ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations
• Previous supervisory experience in restaurants or cafés preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
• Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant operations

Responsibilities

• Assist the Floor Manager in daily restaurant floor operations
• Supervise front-of-house staff including waiters, hosts, and service crew
• Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction at all times
• Monitor staff performance, grooming, attendance, and discipline
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth service flow
• Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and hygiene standards
• Support staff training, scheduling, and shift coordination
• Assist in achieving restaurant sales and operational targets
• Monitor inventory of service items and report shortages
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and food safety standards
• Prepare shift reports and support management with daily operations
