Controller -Lead Finance for Mission Driven Food Service Company

We’re seeking a Controller to join our leadership team and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, forecasting, cash management, and reporting. This role is critical in guiding our financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and supporting growth as we expand our impact.

At Delicious Unlimited, we’re on a mission to empower healthy eating habits in early childhood—one scratch-made meal at a time. Each day, we deliver more than 30,000 fresh, nutritious meals to over 300 daycare and school locations across Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.

We’re seeking a Controller to join our leadership team and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, forecasting, cash management, and reporting. This role is critical in guiding our financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and supporting growth as we expand our impact.

• Oversee accounting, cash management, AP/AR, and reporting
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Provide insights to guide strategic decisions and growth
• Manage audits, compliance, and internal controls
• Build, lead, and mentor the accounting team

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
• 7+ years of accounting/finance experience, 3+ in leadership
• Food service/catering industry experience preferred
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and integrity-driven
