The role includes administrative and nursing care functions, policy development, staff supervision, and coordination with the DON/ADON to maintain quality resident care and compliance with survey requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day nursing activities
- Assist in directing nursing services according to regulations
- Develop and maintain Nursing Service policies and procedures
- Ensure staff comply with Nursing Service Procedures Manual
- Participate in quality assurance and facility surveys
- Assist in discharge planning and resident care planning
- Coordinate nursing services with other resident services
