Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is hiring a part-time RN for MMH 7, a 24-bed unit specializing in gynecology, sarcoma, thoracic, breast, and plastic surgery patients. The RN will deliver individualized quality nursing care within hospital guidelines and ANA standards, under the nursing practice model.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of inpatient experience and a BSN (or ASN with relevant experience). Licensure in FL and BLS certification are required; NPDB check and endorsement considerations apply.

Qualifications

1 year of inpatient hospital experience is preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or ASN with relevant experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families.
Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient.
Participates in evidence-based improvement activities related to area of practice.
Participates in professional development per nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
