To strengthen the Software Delivery unit, we are looking for engineers who share our passion for growth and technological evolution, eager to grow their career within the team. The selected candidates will be placed in a dynamic and innovative environment and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve technological and business goals.

Your role:

Your duties and responsibilities

1. Design, develop and maintain SAS procedures and SAS engines.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into features and SAS development.
3. Provide SAS technical support to the work team on inquiry requests with SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Data Integration Studio.
4. Provide SAS technical support to the work team to design SAS Engines Data Model.
5. Provide SAS technical support to the work team to resolve issues in production environments.
6. Implement data quality checks and validation procedures.
7. Document SAS code, processes and workflows according to internal standards.

Your skills, experience, and qualifications required

1. Master’s degree in a STEM discipline (min. 105/110).
2. Excellent knowledge of the Italian and English language.
3. Excellent team working and collaboration skills.
4. At least 2 years of experience in developing and maintaining SAS solutions using SAS Base and SQL.
5. At least 2 years of experience in developing and maintaining SAS solutions using SAS Data Integration Studio and SAS Enterprise Guide.

Other skills:

1. Knowledge of SQL: Experience with the SQL Proc and SQL queries, optimizing performance, and managing data.
2. Knowledge of SAS Visual Analytics: explore data and create and share smart visualizations and interactive reports.
3. Knowledge of SAS Viya.
4. Experience in Change Processes: Understanding change management processes, including planning, implementation and monitoring of changes in IT systems.
