Start & Go Innovative Solutions is building and growing a new team of IT specialists to develop and implement customized IT solutions for high-profile clients.
We are looking for talented individuals who know how to work as a team, pursue a dynamic and stimulating career, and actively participate in developing new ideas to build a solid and creative team.
Currently, the company has five operational offices in Italy: Siena (Headquarters), Rome, Milan, Bologna, and Parma.
Work location: Full-remote with occasional requirements to be present at our offices. Employment can be based at any of the operational locations.
Expected activities
We seek bright individuals with a genuine desire to learn and challenge themselves, who approach and solve problems with innovative solutions (problem solving and "thinking outside the box").
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will participate in activities for one or more projects:
- Developing custom software based on modern technologies, supported by senior colleagues who will guide your growth.
- Engaging in functional analysis and working closely with clients from the start, participating in meetings that will give you comprehensive exposure to all aspects of the project, while developing communication and problem-solving skills.
- Tech Pack: Access to advanced tools and modern technologies, and provision of a latest-generation MacBook.
- You will work in a young, dynamic, and stimulating environment.
- On-the-job training and specialized courses on key operational tools (Node.js, React.js) and industry-related topics. You will be mentored by top sector experts and guided in using cutting-edge technologies to accelerate your growth.
- Opportunities to gain diverse experiences with different clients and fields in a short time.
- A structured, transparent, and fast growth path supported by a Mentorship program and semi-annual Performance Appraisals.
- Agile and flexible organization with strong exposure to the company's top management.
- Team building: Two annual events to foster team integration through sharing and fun.
Contract Type
Based on candidate skills, we offer two options:
- If skills assessed during interviews suggest limited immediate work autonomy (or up to 1-2 weeks onboarding), a curricular or extracurricular internship of up to 6 months aimed at eventual employment with a fixed-term apprenticeship contract will be offered.
- If skills suggest immediate work autonomy (or up to 1-2 weeks onboarding), an immediate indefinite-term apprenticeship contract will be offered.
Salary
- Salary will be commensurate with experience and will be provided for each type of contract, including internships, which will also be paid.
