Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team. Working closely with R&D scientists, the successful candidate will integrate main process equipment into the plant layout, define mechanical features, interact with suppliers, and support plant development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze plant mechanical feasibility using 3D models to ensure performance, safety, and standards.
- Select equipment and develop operational and maintenance procedures.
- Define constructability schemes and sequences.
- Create project specifications, bid packages, and work execution plans.
- Align vendor offers, evaluate bids, and coordinate subcontractor work descriptions.
- Establish mechanical and piping design bases.
- Support development of standards and calculation models.
- Manage the integration of mechanical systems and the Pilot Plant 3D model.
- Perform piping stress analysis.
- Assist with permit applications and document submissions.
- Follow up on orders with vendors and support commissioning and startup.
- Collaborate with external partners, including research institutions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with material procurement and vendor relations.
- Proficiency with CAD software (Solid Edge preferred), AutoCAD LT, and Office.
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Fluent in professional English.
- Enthusiastic about expanding technological expertise.
- Knowledge of vacuum systems and carbon capture technology is a plus.
