The role involves sourcing fabrics, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining a curated fabric library. Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience in leading fashion brands, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Role Overview

Magda Butrym is looking for a Freelance Fabric Manager / Sourcer to support our creative team in sourcing and selecting fabrics that align with our seasonal mood‑boards and collection needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Creative Director and design studio to understand the seasonal mood and material direction.
• Sourcing fabrics that match our creative vision, aesthetic, and technical requirements.
• Coordination with fabric suppliers to request samples, prices, and lead times.
• Building and maintaining a small, curated fabric library for each season.
• Ensuring the timely delivery of fabric samples for the design and product development teams.
• Briefing production team on seasonal fabrics and supporting the department in communication with suppliers.

Profile

• Strong knowledge of textiles and fabric sourcing
• Organized, proactive, and good at communication
• Able to work independently as a freelancer

No less than 4 years of experience working for leading fashion brands

Understanding of Magda Butrym brand aesthetic

• Ability to work under time pressure
• Working proficiency in English
