UL Solutions in Carugate (Milan), Italy, seeks an Engineer (m/f/i) for Wire & Cable with a focus on New Work Certification, performance testing and follow-up services. The role requires strong communication, independent work, and collaboration with sales to prepare quotes.

The position is hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote) and involves client interaction via email, Teams and phone, with travel to client sites as needed. Salary range is EUR 29,000–38,000 gross per year plus bonus.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical & Electronics or Materials Engineering or related field.
• Any relevant work experience in Wire & Cable field is considered a plus.
• Any relevant work experience in CPR scheme is considered a plus.
• Fluent in English with ability to write technical reports. German knowledge is a plus.

Mansioni

• Determines project scope, plan, and specifications (cost, time, samples) based on client input.
• Travel to client sites for tests or witness testing when required.
• Communicates with clients to discuss technical issues, costs, and timelines.
• Provides technical assistance on product inspection and follow-up services.
• Coordinates laboratory activities and project administration.
