UL Solutions is seeking an Engineer (m/f/i) - Wire & Cable to manage projects on New Work Certification, performance testing, and follow-up services for engineered materials in the wire and cable industry. You will interact with customers via email, Teams, and phone, prioritizing tasks to meet timelines and supporting the sales team in quotes.

The role requires independent work, strong organization, and collaboration.

The Engineer (m/f/i) - Wire & Cable will manage projects related to New Work Certification, Performance Testing, and Follow-Up Services for Engineered Materials, with a primary focus on the wire and cable industry. This position involves frequent customer interaction via email, Microsoft Teams, and phone, requiring strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
The candidate must work independently, prioritize projects based on customer timelines, and support the sales team in preparing quotes. Additional responsibilities include resolving non-conformances identified during follow-up sample testing under UL’s mark integrity program and contributing to special projects that support technical and professional development.

Location: Carugate (Milan) / Italy

Work arrangement: hybrid ( 3 days office / 2 days home office)
