Job summary

ABB is seeking a Continuous Improvement professional to support the Italian IT Regional Distribution Center. You will mentor teams, lead projects to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets, and promote a culture of continuous learning.

The role requires English and Italian fluency and a strong CI background. The position offers flexible working hours with onsite requirements and a compensation package aligned with Metalmeccanico CBA.

Qualifications

• Solid experience applying CI methodologies such as PDCA, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and 5 Why/Ishikawa in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• You have at least 4 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence roles.
• You are highly proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• You are a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
• You hold a Master's Degree in Management Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.

This position reports to:

Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager

Your role and responsibilities

I n this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for Italian EL Regional Distribution Center (ITRDC), including promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Each day, you will mentor and coach teams to achieve operational excellence and drive improved results. You will also showcase your expertise by deploying and leading projects to improve and sustain local business performance.

The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Escalating to relevant stakeholders, as necessary, to remove roadblocks that prevent the successful implementation and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives at local level and helping facilitate cases of conflicting priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ensuring the continuous improvement approach and strategy deployed at local ABB unit level is aligned with the global strategy.
• Facilitating significant improvements with respect to safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and/or cost targets, meeting customer and stakeholder commitments in collaboration with local leadership.
• Providing training support by developing and maintaining training modules and toolkits aligned with business needs in collaboration with management at local level.

Compensation Package

As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position:

Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico

Minimum annual salary: € 39.000

Variable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus
