Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software is looking for a software development professional to contribute to STAR-CCM+ meshing. You will help generate high-quality volume meshes, including tetrahedral and dualized tetrahedral meshing with boundary layers, in a hybrid team setup.

You will collaborate with global teams, extend anisotropic boundary layer capabilities, and implement scalable MPI-based meshing algorithms while learning from experienced colleagues to advance the software and support

Qualifications

• MS/PhD or equivalent in Engineering, CS, Math, or related field.
• Experience developing surface and/or volume meshing algorithms.
• Strong C++ OO software development skills and MPI parallelization experience.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing meshing capabilities in STAR-CCM+.
• Developing and optimizing distributed-memory parallel algorithms (MPI).
• Collaborating with product managers and engineers to understand customer needs and product requirements.
• Creating automated tests to support software reliability.
