Job summary

Splendido, A Belmond Hotel in Portofino is seeking a dedicated Valet to join our front-of-house team for the 2027 season. You will welcome guests, escort them to reception and support guest requests in a luxury setting, reporting to the Head Concierge.

Fluency in English and Italian is essential; a third language is preferred. We offer a seasonal Labour contract (CCNL Turismo – Level 4, Valet) from March 2027 to November 2027, with accommodation, meals, transport benefits and access to Belmond's

Qualifications

• Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally.
• Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, part of the LVMH Group, is an emblem of Portofino’s allure. Our elevated escape is perched in the protected Portofino hills, overlooking the glittering Gulf of Tigullio and charming Portofino. For the next season 2027, we are looking a Valet to join our front of the house team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.

He/She will Report to the Head Concierge.

Main duties & responsibilities:

• Deal with all Valets operations (greeting guests and escorting them to reception;
• Drive and park cars and shuttles, manage arrivals and departures) according to Belmond policies, procedures and compliance with our code of conduct;
• Coordinate with reception and concierge;
• Assist with all guest’s requests.

• Fluent in English and Italian; a third language preferred;
• Previous work experience in the same position in 5 stars hotels Knowledge of hotel management software such as Infor HMS or others, Microsoft suite;
• Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally;

• We offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 4, Valet
• Start date:March 2027 to End date: November 2027, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido and a career path.
