Job summary

Argotec in Italy seeks an enthusiastic Validation and Verification (V&V) Systems Engineer to join the Systems Engineering Unit, contributing to development of Small Satellite platforms and coordinating validation and verification across the spacecraft lifecycle.

You will define and execute test campaigns, ensure conformance to ECSS and aerospace standards, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support mission operations. Fluent English and hands-on, proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Aerospace or Space Engineering or related field.
• Experience in validation and verification across spacecraft lifecycle (spacecraft, payload, components).
• Knowledge of ECSS, MIL, NASA standards and aerospace practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee validation and verification across all mission phases; manage subsystems and system-level tasks.
• Define verification strategy and test plans; redact and execute test specifications.
• Coordinate with Mission Architect/Technical Lead and other technical staff; produce technical documentation.
