Job description

The Intern will join the Corporate and Leveraged Finance (CLF) desk, as support to the Corporate and Corporate Acquisition Financing team in Milan.

She / He will be involved in:

Responsibilities

• Analysis of the existing and prospect clients of the bank in the context of financing transactions related to refinancing of existing debt facilities, capex, liquidity back-up lines, acquisitions;
• Financial Modelling and Business Plan analysis for financings
• Preparation of internal presentations and pitches
• Preparation of internal papers to present financing transactions in credit committees;
• Liaising with other teams of the bank in relation to transaction originated and / or syndicated by DOD
• Preparation of post-transaction memorandum;
• Monitoring of CLF Lending portfolio (exposures, RWA…)
• Market, benchmark and comparable analysis through Dealogic, Loanconnector and internal tools
• Analysis of main players within the Italian lending market (data analysis and PowerPoint presentations) for internal and clients/investors meetings purposes

The Intern will deal with an international, challenging and rapidly changing environment, which requires multi-tasking skills, relational skills, capabilities to work with time management and to respect strict deadlines. This experience will provide the intern with an unique opportunity to improve her/his knowledge of the loan market, with a focus on originating and structuring of loans for the large and mid‑cap Italian corporates

Languages

• Fluency in written and spoken English. French is a plus
