Wood is recruiting a Civil Designer to join its Projects business line in Corsico (Milan), focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in the chemical, petrochemical, and energy industries. The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.

You will support the design and development of civil engineering documents under the guidance of senior engineers and designers.

Competenze

• Experience in civil engineering drawings and documentation.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Mansioni

• Support the design and development of civil engineering documents under guidance from senior engineers.
• Prepare drawings for foundations, concrete structures and earthworks; manage 3D models and quantities.
• Attend 3D model reviews and implement client comments in the design.
• Assist during construction with updated documents and site visits.

The Role

You will support the design and development of civil engineering documents under the guidance of senior engineers and designers. The role involves the preparation of technical drawings for foundations, concrete structures, earthworks, 3D models and related quantities interacting with other technical disciplines and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality technical solutions. During projects development, you’ll attend 3D model review and will implement any Client’s comments in the design. During construction you’ll be involved to prepare updated or new documents and for site visits.
