Job summary

RINA is recruiting a Junior Photonic Engineer to join the Electronics and System Engineering Division in Turin. You will support development, testing, validation, and performance assessment of optical, photonic, and optoelectronic systems, focusing on high-power fibre lasers and photonic components, in a collaborative industrial setting.

This onsite role requires basic optics knowledge, data analysis, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Optics, Photonics, Electronic Engineering or Physics.
• Basic knowledge of optical systems, photonics, and optoelectronic technologies.
• Good English for technical activities and documentation.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and develop documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support development, testing, validation, and performance assessment of optical and photonic systems.
• Work on high-power fibre lasers, optical amplifiers, and fibre-optic systems.
• Contribute to modelling, simulations, and data analysis.
• Assist in technical documentation and reporting.
