Job summary

ABB in Genova, Italy seeks an Electrical/Automation engineer to plan and execute turbine control projects. You will coordinate multiple disciplines, support testing, installation and commissioning, and prepare detailed project documents and cost estimates.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in turbine control or industrial automation, with DCS/I&C and IT/networking knowledge. Willingness to travel for commissioning both in Italy and abroad is required.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in Steam/Gas Turbine control applications or Industrial Automation.
• Experience with automation products and solutions in Oil & Gas and/or Power Generation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and ensure execution of Local Business Line projects for Turbine Control.
• Coordinate engineering discipline across multiple turbine projects and support testing, installation, and commissioning.
• Prepare project documents and cost estimates; review scope, budget, and schedule.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to align technical requirements with suppliers.
