Job summary

ABB is seeking a Commissioning Lead in Genova, Italy, to drive commissioning activities for complex nuclear projects. You will ensure compliance with safety, quality, contractual, and cybersecurity standards while coordinating across project teams and stakeholders in a hybrid work model.

You’ll lead risk assessments, develop cost-effective solutions, and mentor teams on safe, cybersecure commissioning practices. Italian and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in installation, commissioning, or project execution within industrial, energy, nuclear, and automation environments.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, contractual, and cybersecurity requirements related to commissioning activities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as commissioning lead for highly complex projects in the nuclear sector.
• Coordinate services activities with project teams, contractors, and site stakeholders.
• Develop and implement innovative processes, tools, and engineering solutions to improve project execution.| Manage senior-level customer relationships and deliver tailored solutions.
• Lead risk and opportunity assessments and define mitigation actions.
