Job summary

UniCredit is seeking a proactive Correspondent Banking Client Manager to join our Trade & Correspondent Banking team in Italy. You will focus on operational excellence to support sustainable revenue generation and strengthen relationships with Financial Institutions.

You will support Sales targets, manage day-to-day trade finance operations, and collaborate with Credit and Risk teams to structure and win deals across international markets. Fluent English is required; other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal relationships with external FI clients and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Trade Finance products and processes.
• Knowledge of Operational/Compliance/ AML/ Sanctions/ Reputational risks.
• Ability to support commercial initiatives.
• Ability to work in an international cross-functional environment.
• Ability to be a good team player.
• Fluent in English; any other language is a plus.
• Proactively propose solutions to simplify, innovate and make processes more efficient.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales managers in achieving the revenue target assigned for the assigned geographical area.
• Handle operational day-to-day trade finance activities: letters of credit and documentary collections, letters of guarantee, Letters of Credit Cash Collateral Agreement.
• Cooperate with Trade Finance Sales colleagues to streamline operations and deal materialization.
• Collaborate with Credit Functions and Risk Portfolio Optimization to structure and win deals.
