Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Lodi, Italy, seeks a Financial Analyst and Trade Compliance Controlling Specialist to act as the finance partner for trade compliance, aligning regulatory requirements with financial targets. You will monitor the financial impact of trade regulations, tariffs, and import/export needs to support informed decisions.

The role covers governance, risk management, cost analysis, budgeting, and process digitalization while collaborating across functions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in Controlling, Finance, Trade Compliance, or related areas.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), BI tools, and digitalization projects; fluent in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

Governance, Controls & Risk Management: design and maintain internal controls for international trade regulations and company policies.
Financial Analysis & Performance Monitoring: analyze trade costs and cost drivers; support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Process Improvement & Digitalization: support digital solutions, ERP enhancements, and standardized reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Training: work with Trade Compliance, Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, and Finance.
