Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Veneto is seeking a finance analyst to support performance analysis, reporting, and forecasting activities. You will collaborate with the factory controller to understand financial drivers and ensure data integrity in reports.

The role requires a degree in Finance or a related field and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with fluency in English and Italian and strong Excel/SAP S/4HANA skills. Hybrid work is available, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Up to 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, project support, or a similar role.
• Understanding of internal controls, audit requirements, and project financial principles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and support improvements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and proposing actions.
• Collaborate with factory controller to understand financial drivers and performance dynamics.
• Reconcile financial data and review exceptions to validate report accuracy.
• Maintain audit trails and documentation for audits.
• Ensure accuracy of project balance sheets, income statements, cash flow forecasts, and monthly/quarterly reports.
• Support monthly project reviews and performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls related to projects.
• Maintain financials in ERP with planned, actual, forecasted revenues and costs.
• Early identification of risks and provisions.
• Support cash collection and reduce overdue.
