Job summary

WalksDevour is seeking a Ground Operations Coordinator in Milan. This part‑time role blends on‑site tour coordination with administrative duties, supporting daily tours with freelance guides and partners.

You’ll report to the Ground Operations Manager and help ensure tours run smoothly, with a focus on high-quality guest experiences. The position requires availability for evenings and weekends, with a one‑year CCNL Turismo contract starting November 2026.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Italian is essential.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities are required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Experience in tourism, tour operations, or hospitality is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tour coordination: check-in guests, assist guides, resolve issues on the ground, and file post-tour reports.
• Daily operations: oversee tour departures and ensure procedures are followed accurately.
• Administrative support: update systems, maintain records, and assist the Operations team.
• Financial tasks: handle tickets, track transactions, and record expenses per procedures.
• Materials and branding: manage procurement and distribution of materials and branded items.
• Guide and partner coordination: communicate with local guides, suppliers, and partners.
• Quality control: identify opportunities to improve tour delivery and supplier performance.
• Compliance and escalation: monitor procedures and flag issues to Ground Operations Manager.
