Job summary

EPTA GROUP in Limana (BL) is seeking an expert and proactive R&D Thermodynamical Engineer to design, develop and test thermodynamical and aeraulic components for refrigerators within an international R&D team. The role requires >2 years of experience, an engineering degree, Italian language, fluent English, CAD/PLM/SAP familiarity, and willingness to travel 10–20% across Italy and Europe.

The package includes CCNL level: B1, a gross annual base from 30,814.29 €, and a collective performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma with professional experience relevant to the role.
• >2 years of professional experience in a multinational environment is preferred.
• Italian language mandatory; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and drafting of Thermodynamical and Aeraulic parts for refrigerators.
• Support collection of market specifications with project team and leader.
• Apply heat and energy transfer theories to create practical solutions.
• Test the functionalities of Thermodynamical and Aeraulic parts.
• Support documentation of product features (manuals, data sheets).
• Support Quality and Service in non-conformity management, training.

For our Limana Plant (BL) we are looking for an expert and proactive R&D Tehrmodynamical Engineer to design, development and test the Thermodynamical and Aeraulic in R&D Team, using alternative construction criteria consistent with sustainability criteria.

We are searching team player with fresh mindset, strong thermodynamical skills and passion for the refrigeration field.

Accountabilities and key activites:

• Design and drafting of Thermodynamical and Aeraulic parts for refrigerators
• Support the collection of market specification in coordination with project team and project leader.
• Apply theories of heat and energy transfer to create practical solutions to technical problems.
• Test the right functionalities of the Thermodynamical and Aeraulic parts
• Support the documentation of the product key features (manuals, tech data sheets …)
• Support Quality and Service in the management of non conformity, product training
• Support Epta Innovation Centre in the management of patents.

What we are looking for (requirements):

• Professional experience in the role or a similar position: > 2 years, preferably within a multinational environment of a similar scale
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma with professional experience relevant to the role
• Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to set priorities and work autonomously
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact effectively with laboratory technicians and other departments (both within and outside of R&D)
• Ambition for professional growth and a willingness to take on new challenges
• Availability for occasional travel within Italy and Europe (10–20%)
• Mandatory Italian language and Fluent in English
• Experience with CAD software, PLM systems, and SAP is considered a plus
• Good knowledge of software development and an openness to AI are considered strengths

• CCNL level: B1
• Base salary: From €30.814,29 gross per year (CCNL Level B1 minimum). The final offer will be determined using objective, gender-neutral criteria applied consistently across all candidates, including verified professional experience, relevant technical competencies, and the confirmed scope and responsibilities of the role
