Alpiq seeks a Strategic Growth Business Developer Thermal to identify, assess and advance acquisition and partnership opportunities in thermal assets. You will report to the Head of Strategic Growth Thermal and coordinate with internal teams and external advisers to support investment decisions.

The role requires a Master’s Degree in Engineering or Finance, 5+ years in the energy sector with M&A/BD exposure, and fluent English (additional languages desirable).

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in an energy company in business/strategic roles.
• Experience with M&A transactions, business development or strategic projects preferred.
• Understanding of European electricity markets and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in at least two target markets: Italy, Spain, UK, France, Germany and Poland.
• Ability to work in highly complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluency in English; another language desirable.

Mansioni

• Implement acquisition of thermal assets.
• Contribute to defining and updating Alpiq's thermal growth strategy.
• Identify acquisition, partnership and development opportunities and develop market intelligence.
• Coordinate due diligence with Legal, Finance, Technical, and external advisers; present investment cases to EB.
