Aptiv HVT, part of Aptiv, is developing high‑voltage solutions for next‑gen electrical systems in a global environment.

As a Test Engineer you work in our in‑house accredited laboratory, plan, execute and document tests, and contribute to data analysis and audits. Starting salary from €32,000 per year, with compensation higher based on education and experience.

• Completed technical education.
• Initial experience in a laboratory environment; project or quality management experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of German and English, Italian desirable.
• Strong analytical thinking, precise and structured way of working.

Mansioni

• Independent planning, execution, and documentation of laboratory tests.
• Evaluation of customer inquiries, including feasibility analyses, validation plans, and cost estimates.
• Responsibility for modern testing technology and its continuous development.

• Coordination with external laboratories and support during audits.
• Combination of hands-on work in test setups and data analysis.

As a Test Engineer, you will work in our accredited in-house laboratory and ensure that our products meet the highest customer requirements.

You will support mechanical and electrical testing as well as environmental simulations and lifetime tests – making a decisive contribution to the quality and reliability of our products. This includes the following tasks:

• Independent planning, execution, and documentation of laboratory tests
• Evaluation of customer inquiries, including feasibility analyses, validation plans, and cost estimates
• Responsibility for modern testing technology and its continuous development
• Active involvement in projects – from data analysis to results presentation
• Coordination with external laboratories and support during audits
• Combination of hands-on work in test setups and data analysis

Qualifications

Compensation

• Starting salary from €32,000 per year on a full-time basis, classified according to the Metal Industry collective agreement
  
• Depending on your education/qualifications and experience, your compensation may be higher
