Job summary

Tesco’s Maryhill Extra is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise daily store operations and drive excellent customer service. You will guide the team, coordinate across departments, and model inclusive leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day performance.

You will lead in the Manager’s absence, adapt to changes, and coach staff to deliver outstanding service while maintaining high standards. An emphasis on communication and teamwork is essential.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
