Job summary

KPMG Italy is seeking a Junior Tender Specialist in Rome to support leadership and the Management Group with high‑quality tender processes. You will handle registrations, supplier databases, and RFQ preparation, working with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely submissions.

The role requires 1-2 years in a similar setting, knowledge of the Italian public procurement code, attention to deadlines, and strong communication in English. A hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• You have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within structured, medium to large-sized organizations.
• You know the Italian Public Procurement Code (Legislative Decree No. 36/2023) and related regulations.
• You have experience managing complex tender procedures.
• You work with accuracy, can prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage registrations and renewals on supplier registers for public and private clients, including documents and deadlines.
• Maintain supplier register databases with deadlines, passwords, and links.
• Understand main e-procurement platforms (MEPA, Sintel, ESTAR, etc.).
• Prepare documentation for RFQs and tender procedures.
• Search, review and distribute tender notices and invitations per company procedures.
• Manage the company’s certified email (PEC) and functional mailboxes.
