Siemens Energy is seeking a BID/Tender Manager to lead complex technical and commercial tenders for high‑voltage substations. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams and transform customer requirements into winning proposals, ensuring competitiveness, compliance and profitability.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Proposal Management, Tender Management, Technical Sales or Bid Management for complex projects in the energy sector.
• Strong technical and commercial acumen including cost estimation, risk assessment, contract management and pricing strategy.
• Proven project management skills with ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
• Fluency in Italian and English; proficient with Microsoft Office tools.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead the end-to-end preparation and management of complex technical and commercial tenders for high-voltage substation projects.
• Analyze customer requirements to develop competitive, compliant, and profitable proposal strategies.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, Legal, Finance, and Sales teams to deliver high-quality bids on time.
• Develop comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, including cost estimation, pricing strategies, risk assessment, and contractual reviews.
• Provide support to the Sales Team throughout the bidding phase, assisting with customer interface, clarifications, presentations and negotiations.
• Ensure a seamless handover of awarded projects to execution teams while supporting business growth and enhancing customer engagement.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Proposal Management, Tender Management, Technical Sales or Bid Management for complex projects within the energy sector is preferred.
• Strong technical and commercial acumen, including expertise in cost estimation, risk assessment, contract management, and pricing strategy.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Fluency in Italian and English, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project).
• Travel may be required for client meetings and project engagements.

The total compensation package for this position, including both fixed and variable components, ranges between € 40.000 – € 55.000 gross per year.

Salary ranges for this role are provided in accordance with applicable local legislation. The stated range is based on the Italian labour market.

Where a role may be performed in multiple locations in Italy or abroad, compensation will vary depending on factors such as market conditions, including the local cost of living, as well as experience and qualifications. In such cases, the specific salary range for the location of interest will be communicated in the early stages of the recruitment process and, in any case, before any potential offer of employment is made.
