Leonardo Space Division's Telespazio in Rome is seeking aJunior Satcom Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain full-stack software for SATCOM systems within an international team.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 2–3 years of full-stack experience, with strong knowledge of React.js, Vue.js, FastAPI, InfluxDB, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes and GitLab. Hybrid work in Italy is offered.

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Satcom Software Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, and has at least 2–3 years of professional experience in full-stack software development. The candidate will contribute to the design, development, integration, and maintenance of software solutions for satellite communication systems, working in a multidisciplinary and international environment.

2–3 years of experience in full-stack software development.
Strong knowledge of:
- React.js
- Vue.js
- FastAPI
- InfluxDB
- PostgreSQL
Good understanding of computer networking principles and cyber security best practices.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
Experience using GitLab, including source code management and CI/CD workflows.
Experience in preparing and maintaining software documentation; familiarity with ECSS standards is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Good written and spoken English.
Knowledge of Linux‑based development environments.
Familiarity with Agile software development.
Understanding of DevOps practices and automated deployment pipelines.
