Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Technology Development Engineer to support the EICE team in adopting best practices and driving AI-enabled engineering productivity. You will help shape roles, competencies, and learning content while coordinating budgets and development paths.

The role emphasizes AI literacy, collaboration with universities, and publication activity, with a focus on Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls technology growth.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Strong background in engineering research and publications.
• Experience with AI/Generative AI concepts and education in the field.

Responsibilities

• Author and co-author technical papers and conference abstracts.
• Review/edit manuscripts for internal/external audiences.
• Support AI tool adoption within the EICE organization.
• Promote AI literacy and capability building across the community.
• Distribute standard documentation across the organization.
• Ensure alignment in Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls technology growth.
• Shape roles and competencies and plan development paths.
• Organize learning content and coordinate EICE learning plan.
• Lead internal team initiatives and technical talks.
