Baker Hughes is seeking a Lead Engineer, Automation & Control, Product Design and Engineering to drive control system architecture for Gas Turbine driven compressors and generators. You will shape package control philosophy, ensure safety and standards compliance, and collaborate across engineering teams and suppliers in a global setting.

Competenze

• Have a BSc. or MSc. of Science in Control, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Management or Computer Science Engineering.
• Be proficient in Control System design and related development tools; knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• Be familiar with PLC architectures, computer networks, industrial Safety principles
• Have developed interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and motivate others
• Be able and willing to travel worldwide up to 10% of the time for customer meetings and/or site/test bed support.
• Be fluent in spoken and written English.

You will be responsible for the Control System design for Gas Turbine driven Compressor and Generator applications. You will have the opportunity to introduce new technology to enhance company profitability and productivity. You will be responsible for maintaining and incorporating new cost-effective solutions for design.

As a Control System Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Defining Gas Turbine Control Systems architecture based on projects requirements and the application of International Standards (e.g. ATEX, CSA, NEC/NEMA, IECex)

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 43,600 To 70,000.

The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
