Job summary

Alfa Laval seeks a Technology Area Leader in San Bonifacio (VR) to develop new technologies for brazed heat exchangers and translate customer needs into R&D requirements. You will work with cross-functional teams across R&D, Product Management, Sales, and Manufacturing to optimize performance and drive value.

The role focuses on thermal prognosis, CFD simulations, and test specification in a global, multinational environment, with emphasis on international collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field)
• Several years of working experience and/or PhD in the competence field
• Good knowledge of CFD simulations

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer applications to identify opportunities for product and process innovation
• Participate in Technology Development projects with focus on thermal aspects
• CFD simulations involving heat transfer and phase changes
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Sales and Manufacturing to translate customer needs into technical solutions
• Prepare technical documentation and presentations for stakeholders
• Stay updated on industry trends and identify innovation opportunities
