Agrifirm in Italy seeks a Technical Support Specialist (veterinary/nutrition) to support customers and Sales across the Italian market. You will translate veterinary knowledge into practical solutions, including vaccination programmes, disease prevention and feed formulation.

Based in Po Valley (Parma, Mantova, Verona, Modena, Cremona or Reggio Emilia), you will work closely with the Technical Sales EMEA team to deliver measurable improvements in animal performance and customer success.

Competenze

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent veterinary qualification.
• Relevant experience in veterinary practice, animal production, animal nutrition, technical services, or a combination.
• Strong knowledge of animal health, animal production and animal nutrition.
• Practical knowledge of feed formulation and understanding of feed ingredients and formulation principles.
• Experience discussing animal health topics with customers.
• Fluent Italian and English; other languages are an advantage.

The Challenge

Are you a veterinarian with a strong interest in animal health, nutrition and animal production? Do you enjoy working directly with customers and translating your veterinary and nutritional knowledge into practical solutions? Do you want to contribute to improved animal performance while supporting customers and Sales across the Italian market? Then we would like to meet you!

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide practical veterinary and nutritional expertise to customers and the commercial organization. You will combine your knowledge of animal health, veterinary practices, animal nutrition and feed formulation to support the effective application of NuScience products and solutions.

You will act as a technical partner to customers and Sales, translating customer needs and animal health or nutritional challenges into practical, technically sound solutions. You will support customers with topics such as vaccination programmes, medication use, disease prevention, animal health management, nutritional problem solving and feed formulation.

The role combines customer-facing veterinary support with nutritional and formulation expertise, with a strong focus on practical application rather than purely academic or theoretical advice.

An important part of this role is being close to our customers. Therefore, you should be based Po Valley, preferably in Parma, Mantova, Verona, Modena, Cremona or Reggio Emilia.

Responsibilities

• · Provide practical veterinary expertise and sound veterinary recommendations to customers and Sales.
• · Support customers with animal health challenges, including vaccination programmes, medication use, disease prevention and animal health management.
• · Analyse customer situations and nutritional challenges and translate these into practical nutritional recommendations.
• · Support Sales in developing technical value propositions and customer solutions.
• · Visit existing and potential customers together with Sales or independently, to understand customer needs, investigate technical issues and propose practical solutions.
• · Support the planning, execution and evaluation of customer trials and product validations.

In this role, you work independently for the Technical Sales EMEA team and report to the General Manager Italy.

What can we find on your CV?

• · Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent veterinary qualification;
• · Relevant experience in veterinary practice, animal production, animal nutrition, technical services or a combination of these areas;
• · Strong knowledge of animal health, animal production and animal nutrition.
• · Practical knowledge of feed formulation and a good understanding of feed ingredients, nutritional specifications and formulation principles;
• · Practical experience discussing animal health topics with customers;
• · Experience with vaccination programmes, medication use and animal health management is strongly preferred;
• · Strong communication and customer-facing skills;
• · Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical information into practical recommendations;
• · Fluent Italian and English; other languages are an advantage;
• · Experience with customer-facing technical support or Sales is an advantage;
• · Experience with trials, field validations or customer performance analysis is an advantage.
• · You live in the Parma, Mantova, Verona, Modena, Cremona or Reggio Emilia provinces in the Po Valley.
