Job summary

Ameresco, Inc. is seeking a Technical Buyer to manage procurement for photovoltaic projects and energy efficiency programs. You will oversee supplier onboarding, RFQs, bid comparisons, and purchase orders, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with budgets and quality standards.

Requires 4–5 years in energy procurement, knowledge of utility-scale PV, strong negotiating skills, and English proficiency. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred; Italian work authorization for Milano

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience as a Technical Buyer in the energy sector.
• Knowledge of utility-scale PV plants and related procurement.
• Strong negotiation skills and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement supplier onboarding based on capabilities and financial strength.
• Manage RFQs, bid comparisons, and purchase orders in ERP.
• Draft contracts for materials and subcontracted services with Legal support.
• Monitor delivery schedules, technical compliance, and terms.
• Support project teams with procurement requirements during execution.
