Job summary

Ameresco, Inc. is seeking a Technical Buyer to manage procurement for PV plants and energy efficiency projects. You will oversee supplier onboarding, RFQs, POs, and contract drafting, ensuring delivery, budget, and quality targets are met.

The role requires 4-5 years in energy sector procurement, strong negotiation skills, English fluency, and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365. Italian market exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration.
• 4-5 years of experience as a Technical Buyer in the energy sector, preferably in utility-scale PV.
• Good command of English and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).

Responsibilities

• Define and implement supplier onboarding processes based on technical capabilities and financial strength.
• Support the preparation and regular update of the Procurement Department Operating Manual.
• Manage RFQs, bid comparisons, and purchase orders in compliance with company procedures.
• Draft, with the Legal Department, tailored contracts for materials and subcontracted services.
• Monitor delivery schedules, technical compliance, and contractual terms and conditions.
• Maintain and regularly update the Vendor List and assess suppliers’ quality performance.
• Support the Project Team with specific procurement requirements during the project execution phase.
