Jobtailor is seeking a hands-on kiwifruit harvest assistant in Lazio, Italy. You will join a seasonal team to harvest, grade, pack and label fruit, and ensure trays are prepared for storage. Good attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

You will also record data, follow lab protocols, and communicate with supervisors in Italian. The role requires physical work, the ability to lift up to 20 kg, and flexibility to work during peak seasonal periods.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent.
Genuine interest in agriculture and kiwifruit industry.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Good interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Ability to communicate in Italian.
Able to lift up to 20 kg and handle trays or crates.
Willingness to learn data collection devices and database systems.
Comfort working in all weather conditions.
Ability to meet deadlines in a busy seasonal period.

Support harvest activities including picking maturity samples, harvesting fruit, grading, packing and sorting trays into cool store.
Prepare and complete labelling tasks, including printing, tagging and placing labels on bags and trays.
Conduct laboratory measurements accurately and follow instructions and protocols.

Prepare and complete labelling tasks, including printing, tagging and placing labels on bags and trays
Conduct laboratory measurements accurately and thoroughly, in line with instructions and protocols
Monitor data inputs and highlight irregular, duplicate or inconsistent data
Keep workspaces clean, organised and safe, including warehouse and equipment maintenance
Communicate quickly and clearly with supervisors about technical issues, personnel matters or mistakes requiring resolution
Contribute positively to the wider team through flexibility, collaboration and commitment to health, safety and compliance

Requirements
