Michael Page International Italia S.r.l. seleziona un Country Operation Manager per guidare l’avvio e la gestione operativa delle attività italiane, in stretta collaborazione con la sede internazionale.

Occuparsi di sviluppare la rete di fornitori locali, definire infrastrutture operative e assicurare l’allineamento su obiettivi procurement, operativi e commerciali. Il ruolo richiede elevata autonomia, networking con coltivatori italiani, negoziazione e gestione della supply chain a temperatura

• Extensive knowledge of agronomy, procurement, or fresh produce supply chains.
• Strong network of independent growers in Italy.
• Proven expertise in sourcing, negotiation and operational management.
• Solid understanding of temperature-controlled supply chain and export processes.

Mansioni

• Act as the primary liaison between the Italian operations and the international headquarters, ensuring alignment on procurement, operational and commercial objectives.
• Lead the establishment and start-up of the company's Italian operations, including local supplier network development and operational infrastructure setup.
• Drive market development activities across Italy, identifying sourcing opportunities and building long‑term relationships with growers, grower groups and industry stakeholders.
• Support the legal, administrative and operational setup of the local entity, coordinating with external partners and service providers.
• Provide regular market intelligence, crop forecasts and procurement updates to the international leadership team.
• Represent the company in the Italian fresh produce industry and develop the company's local presence and reputation.

Offerta

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Act as the primary liaison between the Italian operations and the international headquarters, ensuring alignment on procurement, operational and commercial objectives.
