Job summary

Withers is looking for a highly organised and adaptable Trainee, either as a CPA Trainee or Trainee Lawyer, to join their Private Client and Tax Department. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, international environment while collaborating with leading professionals.

Candidates should have a strong educational background in Economics or Law, be fluent in Italian and possess a C1 level in English. The position focuses on conducting legal and tax research, managing documents, and supporting client matters.

Qualifications

• Final-year student eligible for pratica anticipata, available full time.
• Recent graduate eligible to join as CPA Trainee or Trainee Lawyer.
• Prior work experience and/or graduation thesis in tax is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal and tax research to support client matters.
• Manage, review and analyse documents with precision.
• Draft tax and legal memoranda and assist in preparing pitches and tenders.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and client events.
• Produce high-quality work efficiently, using the firm’s software.
• Prepare first drafts of engagement letters, ensuring compliance.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Handle general administrative tasks.
