Abbott is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a maternity cover in Italy. You will partner with hiring managers and HR colleagues to attract, engage, and hire talent across multiple functions, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience.

You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, develop sourcing strategies, screen candidates, and guide managers through processes while maintaining compliance with local regulations.

Competenze

• Experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment (in-house or agency).
• Experience sourcing candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter and digital platforms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken.

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Corporate Talent Acquisition team in Italy on a maternity cover contract. In this role, you will partner with hiring managers and HR colleagues to attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent across a variety of business functions. What You’ll Do

• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through offer acceptance.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and other talent channels.
• Screen and assess candidates, identifying the best talent for current and future business needs.
• Guide hiring managers through the recruitment process, providing market insights and recruitment expertise.
• Coordinate and manage interview processes while ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
• Build strong partnerships with HR colleagues & hiring managers
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure compliance with company policies and local employment regulations.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and hiring outcomes.
• Support employer branding, university engagement, networking activities, and recruitment events.
• Contribute to Talent Acquisition projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or Executive Search, either in-house or within an agency environment.
• Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other digital sourcing platforms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and recruitment processes simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Professional approach to handling confidential information.
• Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday.
• Experience recruiting across multiple business functions and levels.
• Strong direct sourcing and talent-mapping capabilities.
• Experience working within a multinational or matrix organization.
• Exposure to healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, life sciences, or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience working with external recruitment agencies and suppliers.
