IFOM seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to join the IT department in Milan, working under the Head of IT and collaborating with a Senior Systems Administrator. The role develops autonomy through a structured onboarding path and involves modern infrastructure across on-prem and cloud, with a focus on security and reliability.

The candidate should have at least 5 years in systems administration, strong Linux/Windows skills, and hands-on experience with AD/Entra ID, MS 365, and monitoring tools.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years in systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with AD/Entra ID, MFA, and security controls.
• Experience with on-prem and cloud infrastructure and backups.
• Experience with MS 365 suite and collaboration tools.

Mansioni

• Gather requirements with clients and translate into technical solutions.
• Coordinate consultants and vendors; track progress and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Install and configure servers, software, and services on-prem and in cloud.
• Manage user access and security policies across environments.
• Implement backup, DR testing, and restore procedures.
• Patch OS and applications; focus on security and continuity.
• Administer Microsoft 365 tenant (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
• Monitor systems and networks with Zabbix, Grafana/Prometheus; analyze logs.
• Manage network devices: switches, firewalls, VPNs; provide remote/on-site support.
• Storage management across NAS/SAN, file systems, permissions, quotas.
• Document infrastructure and procedures; participate in on-call rotation.
